Description
A dazzling California Native succulent featuring a greenish-grayish basal rosette with bright red-orange thimble-shaped flowers. This succulent is naturally occurring in rocky habitats in low-elevation mountains from Southern California to Northern California. Plant in well-draining soil in full to partial sun and at an angle to prevent rot. Does well in containers and rock gardens! Shrivels up during the summer as a natural response to drought conditions. A show-stopping specimen that provides food for pollinators.
