Giant Chalk Dudleya - Dudleya brittonii
Description
A striking California native succulent! Beautiful chalky broad leaves in an elegant rosette form with a thick basal stem. Rosettes form tall arching white stalks in late spring, blushing red as clusters of yellow flowers emerge in the summer. Plant in well-draining soil in full to partial sun and at an angle to prevent rot. Does well in containers and rock gardens! Shrivels up during the summer as a natural response to drought conditions. A show-stopping specimen that provides food for pollinators.
