Marian Sampson Hummingbird Monardella - Monardella macrantha 'Marian Sampson'

Small perennial with gorgeous red blooms in summer and fall used by butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators. A lovely specimen to grow in a pot with cactus mix soil. Can be short lived, but reliable in pots.

Care guide: cutback to approximately 2 inches from the ground each year in fall to refresh plant growth. Deadhead spent blooms throughout the flowering season to prolong flowering. If growing this plant in pots/containers, water established plants only when soil is dry 2 inches down (can stick finger down into soil to check).
